Lisa and Corey Jackson began Plant Natives from our backyard in Port Noarlunga South in 2022. We quickly ran out of room and expanded to the nursery space at Hackham in February 2023 where we grew over 40000 Native Plants for multiple revegetation projects for multiple sites across South Australia.
Corey has been growing natives and involved in natural area restoration projects since obtaining his Horticulture Certificate in 1994. Corey worked as a landscape gardener up until 2002 when he graduated Flinders University with a Bachelor of Environmental Management. He has worked in natural area restoration since. This has included establishing and management of native plant nurseries through out his career. He is well known for his diverse plant knowledge, revegetation projects and successful outcomes for the environment. He has volunteered with Friends of Moana Sands Conservation Park since 2002 and has been Vice President for the past 4 years.
Lisa has been involved in natural area restoration projects with Corey for the past 20 years on a volunteer basis with Trees for Life and as a yearly National Tree Day Volunteer at Moana Sands Conservation Park. For over 20 years she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. She now works full time at Plant Natives.
